Cauliflower- Ghobi Pickle.



Cauliflower- A Cancer Preventive Vegetable Flower.


Packed with rich nutrients, cauliflower or cabbage flower is one of the commonly used flower-vegetable. There are dozens of studies linking cauliflower-containing diets to cancer prevention, particularly with respect to the following types of cancer: bladder cancer, breast cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer, and ovarian cancer. This connection between cauliflower and cancer prevention should not be surprising, since cauliflower provides special nutrient support for several body systems that are closely connected with cancer development as well as cancer prevention.

One of the best ways to eat cauliflower to maximize nutrients is to eat it raw .
So I'm planning to make some mouth watering  Cauliflower / Gobhi Pickle...


Ingredients:

1.       1.1/4 kg. - Cauliflower-
2.       ¼ kg – Lemon
3.       50 gms- Ginger gratings
4.       1 cup- Salt
5.       1/  cup- R. Chilli pd
6.       1 tbsp-  Mustard pd.
7.       1 tbsp- Fenugreek pd
8.        1/ ltr-  Any Cooking oil. ( Mustard is better) 




  Method-
1.       Cut Cauliflower florets n wash them. Now soak  them in a salt containing water for about 4-5 hrs.
2.       Drain the water n dry them properly.
3.       Now add all above ingredients n  expect oil & mix well.
4.       Heat oil n then cool, later mix in the ready pickle. This helps as a PRESERVATIVE.
5.       Store in a dry bottle in a fridge.
Simple is it not???
