(Shenga Ballolli Chateny / Peanut + Garlic Chateny.)
Garlic is a herb used widely as a flavoring in cooking, It has also been used as a medicine throughout ancient and modern history to prevent and treat a wide range of conditions and diseases. Garlic belongs to the onion genus Allium.
People who ate raw garlic at least twice a week had a 44% lower risk of developing lung cancer.
Organo-sulfur compounds found in garlic have been identified as effective in destroying the cells in glioblastomas, a type of deadly brain tumor.
Peanut -
Since
ancient times Groundnuts / Peanuts are known to humankind. They are delicious, crunchy,
and nutty and one of the popular oil seeds. They are actually legumes but have almost all the
qualities that true nuts like Almonds have. That’s why they r called as- Poor
people Almonds. Groundnuts are good source of
carbohydrates, proteins, calcium and
phosphorus making it an essential part of one’s diet regimen.
Sesame or Til
Sesame or til has more
health benefits than most other seeds. It is one of the most common
ingredients used in kitchens all around the world including India. Sesame has been found to have a
number of benefits apart from just adding color, flavor and texture than more health benefits than most other
seeds.
Sesame seeds are rich in
oleic acid, a potent mono-unsaturated fatty acid which lowers the ‘bad
cholesterol’ or LDL cholesterol in the blood and increases the level of ‘good
cholesterol’ or HDL in the body. Thereby helping you maintain a healthy lipid
profile. All this in turn protects you from heart disease, stroke and atherosclerosis.
Research has found that
sesame has very potent anti-cancer properties. It has been found to be
effective against a number of cancers like lung cancer, colon cancer, leukemia,
prostate cancer, breast cancer and pancreatic cancer.
Anti Cancer Chantey-
The aroma of garlic is pungent. So to prevent your
fingers from discoloring and having a lingering garlic aroma throughout the day
oil your fingers before peeling. .
Ingredients –
1. Peeled Garlic cloves- 10-12.
2. Roasted peanuts or
shenga- 1 cup
3. Roasted Til/ Sesame – ¼ cup
4.Coconut gratings- ½ cup
5.Chilli powder – 1 tsp.
6.Salt to taste
Method
1.
Mix all ingredients
& grind coarsely in mixie or you can even use iron khalbatta .
2.
Store in a air
tight container.
3.
Serve with Hot
Jower Reties, Idlis, Purisn Chapatis.
Easy and more beneficiary..

ReplyDeleteThank u @ಅನಂತ್ ರಾಜ್ ಜಿ..ದಿನಾಲೂ ತಿನ್ನುವ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅದೆಷ್ಟೋ ಆರೋಗ್ಯವರ್ಧಕ ಗುಣಗಳಿದ್ದರೂ ನಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿರೋದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡು, ಅಡಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ರೆ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಪೋಷಕಾಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ಮನೆಯವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಬಹುದಲ್ಲ. ಅದಕ್ಕೆಂದೇ ನಾನು ಆದಷ್ಟು ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.
