Red chilli chutney / Ranjaka






  


Red chili is a powerhouse of nutrition. It contains vitamin C and carotene in high amount.
Red chili adds on heat and flavor to any meal. Besides giving spicy flavor, chilies add some nutritive elements to the food. 

Health benefits-
1. Red Chili has the ability to fight against inflammation.
2. Foods rich in vitamin C help to boost the immune system.
3. They help to decrease blood cholesterol levels, triglyceride levels, as well as platelet aggregation.
4. Capsaicin found in red chili peppers prevents the spreading of prostate cancer cells by a variety of mechanisms.

I Love to make different recipes with seasonal fruits & vegetables as they are healthy and fresh.



 




HOT & SPICY Red chills chutney
Its dam Quick n easy. 

Ranjaka- / Red Chilli Chantey.

I have made 2 different Ranjakas.
Ingredients
1. Red ripened Challis- ½ kg
Lemon juice- 4 tsp.
Turmeric pd-
Salt 2 tbsp.
Asaphoetida- ½ tsp.
Method-
Rinse thoroughly n dry them. Remove their stalks. 

U may use tamarind or lemon juice 4 sourness.
Cut in to pieces and then grind in a blender.
Salt acts as a preservative, if sufficient salt is not added the chantey may be affected by fungus.
Give vagar b4 serving.
Enjoy.
 




2. Ranjaka with garlic
Ingredients as well as method is same as above + Garlic pods.
Grind and while using give vagar of mustard seeds and Curry leaves and asafoetida.




Serve with Jawar Rotti/ Bajra Rotti/ chapatis.
