Instant Sweet & Spicy Lemon Pickle… Zat Pat Katta Meetha Lemon Pickle…



There are many health benefits of lemons that have been known for centuries. Lemon is an excellent and rich source of vitamin C, an essential nutrient that protects the body against immune system deficiencies. This fruit popular for its therapeutic properties, helps maintain your immune system and thus protects you from the clutches of most types of infections. It also plays the role of a blood purifier. Lemon is a fabulous antiseptic and limewater juice also works wonders for people having heart problems, owing to its high potassium content. So, make it a part of your daily routine to drink a glass of warm lemon water in the morning and enjoy its health benefits.

Friends..I would like to share my favorite instant Khatta Meetha lemon Pickle with u all. It goes well with Bread, Chapathi, Pooris n last but not the least our South Indian Special Curd Rice. No need to wait for months. 
Make it & Have it.
Easy to make & fast to consume...


Ingredients:

1 kg- Lemons
¾- kg- Sugar
1 cup Salt
½ cup Red chili powder
1 tbsp Turmeric powder
1/2 tsp Asafoetida


Method-
 
1.Wash the lemons, dry them & Pressure cook in a vessel without water for 10-15 minutes.
2. Remove, Cool & then grind them. Don’t worry about the seeds..
3. Now add all above mentioned ingredients and mix well.

4. Put in a clean storage bottle & store.
  No need to add OIL.


Second Method-  

1.Wash the lemons, dry them.  
2.Make pieces and pressure cook.
.


3.Now add all above mentioned ingredients and mix well.




 Now it’s ready to serve friends..
