Amrakhand
This is an Indian sweet dish, specially one of
Maharastrian, Gujarati as well as Northern Karnataka's main dessert. It
is commonly served with Pooris / chapatis & some times as a
dessert.
Preparation is very easy..
Ingredients-
Curds- 1ltr : sugar pd- 1 kg or 1 1/4 kg. (Depending on sourness
of curds)
Alphanso Mango pulp
-1 cup.
Salt- pinch
Cardamom pd- ½ tsp
Method-
1.
Now tie curds in a thin cotton towel for 2-3 hours
to remove extra whey water from it. **
2.
Remove this n now mix with sugar pd, mango pulp
& pinch
of salt n put it in a Shrikhanda maker.
3.
(If u don’t have Shrikhand maker no probs.. Use
Flour sieve.
4.
Add Cardamom pd n mix well.
5.
U can preserve it for 8-10 days in ur
refrigerator.
6.
Simple n EAZY..N..… Whosoever eats will go simply CRAZY….
