This Karonda / Kavalekayi fruit is a rich source of Iron and Vitamin C (Antioxidants), which means that they are excellent as cure against Anemia (lack of red blood cells) and useful against anticancer activities.
Karonda / Kavalekayi Chat pata chuteny.
Ingredients
- Karonda / Kavalekay/ Carissa carandus – 100 gm
- Coriander – 50 gm or 1 small bowl (cut)
- 4- large whole dry red chillies
- Jaggry- according to your taste
- Asafetida – 1 to 2 pinch
- Salt – as per taste
Wash and clean the Karondas/ kavalikayi and coriander.Add other ingradients &
grind everything finely in a grinder.
Take out the paste in a bowl.
Put vagar with dash of hing & karipatta.
The delicious Karonde /Kavalikayi/ Carissa
carandus Chat pata Chutney is now ready to serve.
